Like The River Salon Policies
Punctuality
To ensure that you have an efficient and wonderful experience at Like The River (LTR), please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. Arriving 10 minutes late after your scheduled appointment will result in appointment cancellation and/or a rescheduled appointment.
New Clients/Deposits
A $50.00 deposit is required to reserve an appointment for all new clients, and for clients who have not visited the salon in more than six months. This deposit will NOT go toward your services. All clients of the salon must have a credit card on file in order to make an appointment.
Consultations
All new clients are subject to a consultation appointment with an LTR hairstylist, prior to their first service. The consultation fee is $50.00 and is a separate charge from the scheduled services. The fee must be paid at the time of booking the consultation appointment.
All permanent color and extension services require a consultation prior to scheduling an appointment. After the consultation, a 50% deposit of permanent color or extension services is required when booking.
No Show/Late Cancellation
Twenty-four-hour notification to cancel an appointment is required via salon phone call and/or voicemail. No shows, late arrivals (after the grace period of 10 minutes) and late cancellations (less than 24-hour notice) will result in an automatic charge to the card on file for 100% of the services booked.
Waiting Area
Our reception area is for clients who are being serviced only. There are no guests or children under 13 allowed to wait in the salon unless they are being serviced.
Payments
Cash and all major credit cards are accepted for services and products. Gratuities are also welcomed in cash. Checks are not accepted as a form of payment.
Refunds
If for any reason there was an error or mistake with a cut or color service ONLY, we will gladly adjust the cut or color within five (5) days of the original appointment at no additional charge, with the original stylist. If you would like to see a different stylist to adjust the cut or color, it will be considered a new, fee-for-service appointment.
Each LTR stylist is professionally licensed and insured, and individually responsible for any hair damage due to chemical and/or color procedures. Please consult with your stylist prior to receiving services.
