Like The River Salon Policies
Punctuality
To ensure that you have an efficient and wonderful experience at Like The River Salon, please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. Arriving 10 minutes late after your scheduled appointment will result in appointment cancellation and/or a rescheduled appointment. In addition, the card on file will be charged for 100% of the services booked.
New Clients
All new clients are required to book a consultation appointment with a hairstylist, prior to their first service. For further details and the required new client waiver, please click here.
Deposits
As determined by the salon, a $50.00 deposit may be required to reserve an appointment for clients who have not visited the salon in more than six months. This deposit will be applied toward the balance of your services. All clients of the salon must have a credit card on file in order to make an appointment.
Consultations
All permanent color and extension services require a consultation prior to scheduling an appointment. After the consultation, a 50% deposit of permanent color or extension services is required when booking.
No Show/Late Cancellation
24-hour notification to cancel an appointment is required via salon phone call, voicemail, or email. No shows, late arrivals (after the grace period of 10 minutes) and late cancellations (less than 24-hour notice) will result in an automatic charge to the card on file for 100% of the services booked.
Waiting Area
Our reception area is for clients only. There are no guests or children allowed to wait in the salon unless they are being serviced.
Payments
Cash and all major credit cards are accepted for services and products. Gratuities are welcomed in cash. Cash app, Zelle, or Checks are not accepted as forms of payment to the salon.
Refunds
If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your service, please contact us within five days of the original appointments. If you would like to see a different stylist to adjust the cut or color, it will be considered a new, fee-for-service appointment.
Each Like the River Salon stylist is professionally licensed and insured, and individually responsible for any hair damage due to chemical and/or color procedures. Please relay any questions or concerns to your hairstylist prior to receiving services.
